Intertextual experience in Roland Barthes's "A lover's discourse: fragments"

Straipsnyje analizuojama intertekstualumo reikšmė 1977 metais išleistoje ir Lietuvoje netyrinėtoje Rolando Barthes’o knygoje Meilės diskurso fragmentai. Straipsnyje analizuojamas imituotas mylinčio subjekto kalbėjimas – įkalbintas mylinčiojo patirties diskursas. Analizės svarbiausias klausimas: kuo tampa beveik fenomenologinė užduotis aprašyti meilės patirtį begalinio intertekstualumo erdvėje?According to the notion of intertextuality offered by Roland Barthes, a work of literature as text stems not from a unified authorial consciousness but from a multiplicity of other texts. In the 80s, Barthes extends his analysis of texts by introducing a typology of pleasures of reading, making an ample use of the notions of body and relying heavily on his personal experience. This article attempts to discover the meaning of intertextuality in Barthes's book A Lover's Discourse: Fragments (1977). The primary focus is on the simulated speech of an amorous subject, i.e. love-passion discourse as embodied in language. The purpose of the article is to identify the way the speech of the amorous subject, which consists of intertextual fragments, reveals the identity of the amorous subject. In addition, an attempt is made to answer the question of how the almost phenomenological task of describing the experience of love becomes affirmation of the experience as an outcome of the intertex
